A sconce that goes where the wiring doesn't
Stav is a slim brushed-brass stem carrying a white linen shade, fixed to the wall without a single cable. It takes a rechargeable E27 bulb (sold separately) and mounts with an adhesive plate, so it can go where a wired sconce cannot: a rented flat, a stairwell with no junction box, either side of a bed.
The linen diffuses the light into a warm pool rather than a hotspot, which makes it as good for reading in bed as for marking a hallway at night.

Goes up in two minutes
The backplate sticks on with an adhesive pad, or takes two screws if you would rather. No junction box, no electrician, nothing to repair when you move out — which is what makes it work in a rental.
After dark
A warm pool, not a spotlight
The linen softens the light into a pool on the wall instead of a hard circle. Bright enough to read a page by the bed, gentle enough to leave on in a hallway.

No. Stav takes a standard E27 bulb. Our rechargeable bulbs (pack of 2) charge over USB-C and come with a remote. One pack lights a pair.
Do I need an electrician?
No. There is nothing to wire: Stav lights up with a rechargeable bulb. The wall plate sticks on with the adhesive pad, or takes the 2 screws included.
Adhesive or screws: which one?
The adhesive pad is ideal on a smooth, clean wall and perfect for renters. On an uneven or crumbly wall, or in a damp room, use the screws. Both come with every lamp.
How does it charge?
The bulb is what charges, over USB-C (cable included with our bulbs). Unscrew it, charge it, screw it back in. No batteries to buy, no socket needed.
What kind of light does it give?
The bulb shines through a real linen shade, so the light spreads in a warm pool on the wall. With our rechargeable bulbs you can dim it and choose warm, neutral or cool white.
What are the dimensions?
