Inspired by wabi-sabi, Mochi holds a quiet presence through its hand-finished textured surface, soft diffused glow and organic sculptural form. The surface keeps its small irregularities, giving the shade a natural rhythm that feels calm and grounded in a room.
The light spreads gently, building atmosphere without hard contrast. It settles just as easily into a stripped-back interior as into a more expressive one.

The story
A shade shaped like a stone, lit from inside.

Up close
Texture, not a shine
The shade is matte and slightly chalky, with a rim that dips like a wave instead of running straight. Up close it reads as a ceramic object rather than a lighting fixture, and the light that bounces off it stays soft.
Over the table
Made to hang in a row
Three in a line over a dining table is where the shape makes the most sense: the open bowl keeps the glare off the people opposite you, and the repeated silhouette does the work of a much larger fixture.

From 30 to 80 cm across
Five diameters, so the lamp can be a small accent over a counter or the single large piece a tall room needs. Hang one, or mix sizes at staggered heights in a stairwell or hallway.
